Visits
I truly enjoy meeting young readers and their parents. I’ve read my stories to classes and other groups and would be happy to visit your school, library, or bookstore. While I prefer in-person, I can offer virtual visits as well.
I also lead critique sessions, lecture about diversity and representation, and share my experiences as a Muslim of South Asian origin. If you’d like to discuss any of the above or do a meet-the-author event, just use my contact form to reach out.
Book Humera for The Great Henna Party
I offer 45-minute sessions catered to grades K–6 in the DMV area. Sessions include getting to know the author, a treasure chest introducing cultural items featured in the book, an interactive read aloud of the book, followed by an activity appropriate to the relevant age group(s).
Speaker Fee:
- Half day: $150
- Full day: $300
